TECHNOPARK KALIBR TOOK PART IN A STRATEGIC SESSION TO DISCUSS THE FORMATION OF MOSCOW INNOVATIVE CLUSTER

Sergei Sevostianov, General Director of Kalibr JSC, and Kristina Zarubina, Head of Technopark Kalibr, took part in the strategic session organised by the Higher School of Economics in cooperation with the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of Moscow City Government on the basis of HSE ground and devoted to the development concept of Moscow innovative industrial cluster.

The strategic session was attended by the representatives of business community, universities, research and infrastructure organizations - potential members of the cluster, as well as interested authorities, development institutions and the expert community. The issues of the cluster development direction, its structure, requirements for participants and the management and communications system, promising forms of support for joint projects of cluster members, technology transfer, competitive production and human resources development were discussed.

As Aleksey Fursin, Head of the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of Moscow City Government noted in his opening speech, all thematic events (expert sessions, industry meetings) are held in order to formulate in a correct way what the capital industry needs today:
"We need to understand who and under what conditions will become the main participants of the cluster, what existing and new support measures will be provided to the participants and what we will have as a result of the support provided."

Alexey Fursin also noted that the issue of cluster already goes beyond the borders of Moscow and becomes interregional: “Those requests from market players that we receive today have already gone beyond the limits of one region. Therefore, we definitely need to take this issue into account when formulating our cluster development program. ”
