KALIBR TECHNOPARK SHARES EXPERIENCE OF DEVELOPMENT DURING THE PANDEMIC PERIOD IN THE PANEL DISCUSSION IN THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

On 16th October 2020 the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation held a panel discussion on the development of industrial parks, SEZs, technoparks during a pandemic and post-pandemic and new mechanisms of interaction with residents. The panel discussion became a joint project of the Business Dialogue Media group and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

Mikhail Kogan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC Kalibr, Chairman of the MCCI Committee for Industrial and Innovation Policy, took part in the discussion of anti-crisis strategies for the development of industrial sites together with Maria Voronova, Director General of M2-Podolsk.

The event was also attended by Dmitry Kurochkin, Vice President of the RF CCI, Vladimir Gamza, Chairman of the RF CCI Council for Financial, Industrial and Investment Policy, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the GIFA Association, Andrei Shpilenko, Director of the Association of Clusters and Technoparks of Russia, Inna Rykova, Head of the Center for Sectoral Economics of the NFI of the Ministry of Finance of Russia, Ruslan Aliyev, Azerbaijan's trade representative in Russia, experts, heads of industrial parks and resident companies, representatives of regions and industry unions.

The discussion was moderated by members of the RF CCI's Committee on Entrepreneurship in the Field of Media Communications - Maria Suvorovskaya, General Director of Business Dialogue Media ICG, Editor-in-Chief of the Russian Business Guide magazine and Vadim Vinokurov, Chairman of the Editorial Board of Business Dialogue Media.

The participants of the panel discussion discussed the specifics of managing industrial parks in the context of the social and economic crisis, the effectiveness of special economic zones, and the experience of forming industrial sites in Azerbaijan. During the meeting the question also appeared about the problems in the definition of terms such as "technopark" and "industrial technopark".

Based on the results of the panel discussion, proposals will be prepared for further elaboration and sending to state authorities.
