Solemn meeting in honor of 74th Victory Day in World War II
Technopark “Kalibr” held a solemn meeting in order to honor 74th Victory Day in World War II and Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 yy.
The meeting united about 200 people who came to the Alley of Heroes to solemnly welcome and make a salute for participating veterans and honor the memory of those who fought and died during WW II. The guests honored the veterans with flowers and presents.
The students of 7th grade of cadet corps of Moscow school 1554 and pupils of pre-elementary department of school 1518 took part in a solemn reception. Certain relatives of militiamen of 13th Division of Militia in Moscow who worked at the factory “Kalibr” also came and honored the great memory of veterans and of the fallen.
The meeting commenced with honoring the memory of those fallen during the tragic accident in Sheremetyevo airport on May 5th 2019.
Solemn reception was followed by the songs of war period. There was a welcome word to all the participants, students took part at honoring the Victory Day with all the veterans who came. The chairman of the board of Technopark “Kalibr” Mikhail Kogan held the welcome speech and made an emphasis on importance of honoring the memory of the fallen. The flag of Victory was held by the students to the public, accompanied by the song “March”. The pupils of pre-elementary department of school 1518 performed a show for the visiting veterans.
The end of the solemn reception was terminated by the minute of silence in honor of the fallen during the WW II and all the participants let the celebratory balloons in the sky.
Meeting was followed by laying flowers in front of the monument to honor the fallen militiamen of the factory “Kalibr”. All the participants showed the solemn appreciation towards the veterans. Mobile kitchen trailer was available at the time to remind the veterans of that period.
Earlier, on 28th of April, the solemn concert for veterans of Great Patriotic War took place at the conference room of Technopark “Kalibr” supported by the company-resident “Alta-Soft”.
