On August 15, the Exercise-2019 competition took place at the Kalibr Technopark, Moscow. It was a public viewing of presentations and video clips of clothing collections as part of the Creative Industries Festival: Allaboutfashiontech. The Exercise-2019 contest was organized by the Roslegprom Joint-Stock Company, the RLP-Fair exhibition company and Kalibr Technopark. Participants and guests of the Competition were welcomed by: Mikhail Kogan, Chairman of the Board of Directors Kalibr PJSC Caliber, Sergey Sevostianov, General Director of Kalibr PJSC, Alexander Kruglik, Executive Director of RLP-Fair LLC, Vladimir Zubets, Leading Designer of SAMOS and Stainberg and Sergey Sysoev, designer of the Fashion House "Sergey Sysoev". Congratulating the renewed Exercise, all speakers spoke about the need for designers to master creative industries. This is creativity combined with high technology, this is a new understanding of the role of the designer not only in creating the product, but also in its presentation to a wide range of consumers.

The jury was led by Vladimir Zubets and Sergey Sysoev. The jury included: Elina Androsova, president of the Interregional Association of Fashion Houses, Anna Tsvinaria, producer of the Multiways professional content agency, Svetlana Kostenko, editor-in-chief of Atelier magazine, Lyudmila Mezentseva, designer of Vereteno TM, Julia Myatkovskaya, chief designer of TM F5, Anna Sitnikova, head of the textile design studio Solstudio Textile Design, Ilya Sokolov, director of the Videonika studio, Alexey Smurov, PR, marketing and advertising manager of Kalibr Technopark, Daria Chernysh , fashion director, director of TOPSECRETkids agency.

The designers of the competition faced very difficult tasks: they needed to present a modern author's product in the collection and organically, with a drive to their consumer. In order for the product to be “sold”,it was necessary for the jury to fill it with an idea that any designer puts into his work and withstands harmoniously throughout the project. Some of the designers managed to do this, the experts spoke about the desire to try on, buy or start shooting their own fashion clips themselves. The jury rated the participants' first experience as successful and wished them development and commercial success.

The partner council at the competition was represented by: Karina Andreeva, Deputy Director of Assol Scientific Center, Maria Kashina, Commercial Director of RoyalDressforms, Valentina Kuznetsova, Editor-in-Chief of RIA Fashion Information Agency, and Dmitry Popov, DIBONI Strategic Development Director.

Partners noted that Exercise was always able to surprise with new young talents, but this time it surprised with its format. In addition to the clothing designer, the authors of the collections also proved themselves as marketers, directors, screenwriters. The Russian industry has much to be proud of.

23 designers participated in the competition, presenting 20 works: Lyudmila Agarkova (MaidensoftheNord), Dakhalina Arakelyan (Dakhanago), Daria Aleinikova and Anna Balabekina (Wow, Vermeer!), Olga Vishnyakova (GODDESSOFOURDAYS), Maria Dmitrieva and Maria Rodionova , Olga Ivenina, (Edge of the storm), Alexander Kaverzin (Amsterdam), Elena Kalenkevich and Ekaterina Klyazovich (Onemoreshot), Julia Kalinina (ZAZGY MOZGY), Ekaterina Lapikova (Danceofthecity), Petya Le (We are young!), Ariadna Lyubimova (Oksyumoron) , Liana Murzakanova (Archi-Brid), Olga Olivia (Give it the right!), Anton Permyakov (Wind of the East), Ksenia Savostyanova (UnitedWorld), Evgenia Farkhadini (AKIRA), Alisa Khabarova (Crumpled Sheet), Victoria Shlenova (Freedomofthe consciousness), Daria Yugay (Yourrules, yourcolors).

Awarding of winners, prize-winners and participants will take place on September 17, on the first day of the 53rd Textillegprom Federal Fair in Moscow at VDNH.
