The Committee on Industrial and Investment Policy of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a meeting at which entrepreneurs were able to meet with the heads of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development and the Moscow Innovation Cluster Foundation and to ask questions to the business community.

The event was moderated by Mikhail Kogan, chairman of the committee, which was established in August, 2019, as part of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 
The new public structure unites experts and initiative companies who are ready to constructively express and protect the interests of business.

The head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the capital, Alexey Fursin, introduced the opportunities and services available to business on the official Internet platform of the Moscow innovation cluster i.moscow. As the head of the department noted, the IT platform is able to collect the most complete information about the support programs for innovation in the city and federal levels, about 200 measures of support in total. Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs can set up a personal account on the website for free in order to solve many of the company's tasks online, including expanding their business ties. For example, it is possible to receive information about more than 500 thousand items of products and services and to contact with any manufacturer.

The President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Platonov emphasized that the MIC is the most important project, the experience of which will be useful to many regions and will help increase the competitiveness of domestic high-tech products in the world market.

After reviewing the presentation of the Cluster, company representatives asked a number of questions about the mechanisms and prospects for the development of a new IT resource. 
Summing up the meeting, Mikhail Kogan proposed to hold a new meeting about six months later in order to see what the colleagues on the basis of the MIC had managed to implement, as well as to provide feedback from the business community.

- It is always important to provide meetings when the authorities and business  discuss current issues directly. Such platforms for a dialogue should be competetive. It helps to find the most balanced, well-developed solution, - said Mikhail Alexandrovich. - As for the cluster, first of all, it opens up additional opportunities for entrepreneurs to demonstrate their own initiative and activity, and this is precisely the essence of small and medium-sized businesses.
