CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF KALIBR PJSC SUMMED UP THE RESULTS OF YEAR 2019
Dear colleagues, 2019 was full of events and new partnerships that set the vector for the development of the Technopark for the next few years.
Kalibr Technopark became a leader in the ranking of the Association of Clusters and Technoparks of Russia the third time, improving results in such parameters as innovative activity of tenants and information openness. This is a joint achievement of each employee of Kalibr PJSC and tenants of the Technopark. Each of our departments develops unique comfortable environment and infrastructure.
Another important event was the opening of the Committee on Industrial and Investment Policy in the framework of Moscow Chamber of Trade and Commerce and the holding of the first meetings. Currently, there is an explicit request to protect and promote the interests of high-tech industrial companies. Technologies are developing faster than legislation, in particular in innovative industries.
Thus, in the current economic conditions, we are aware of the need for our involvement in decision-making processes at various levels, as well as in the representation of industry interests in the relevant authorities of Russia. The chairmanship of the Committee and regular work through meetings and expert sessions is a real tool for business communication between the business community and the state represented by federal, regional and municipal authorities.
This year, under the auspices of the Technopark, a large number of events, conferences, business breakfasts were held. Joint projects are developed with international partners: the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the World Bank, development institutions and research centers from Israel, France, and Germany.
Among the important realized projects of this year was the joint project of the children's animation technopark on the basis of Kalibr PJSC and the Moscow City Duma, the development of creative industries cluster and the organiszation of the first festival in this field, new cases for transforming coworking residents into Technopark tenants.
In 2020, we are waiting for even more large-scale projects - the launch of the engineering and laboratory building of the Technopark with an area of more than 40 thousand square meters, combining coworking space, mini-offices, conference rooms, public spaces and premises for high-tech companies.
Also next year, together with the partners, we will organize special events aimed at improving skills in the field of technology transfer, fashiontech, web- design, BigData, digital humanities.
Thank you for your collaboration this year!
Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!
