The Mumiy Troll group and Solstudio Textile Design studio, Kalibr technopark tenant, with the support of Epson, have joined forces to host the Vladivostok 3000 and other Rare Earths contest to support aspiring artists and designers and draw attention to their work.
We understand better than others how difficult it is for young creative people. The studio team is yesterday's students who today dictate world fashion trends. The studio's works are on the stands of the trends of all the major textile exhibitions in the world, they are referenced by leading authorities in the fashion world. Mumiy Troll created his own unique musical style and knows perfectly well what it means to be different from others and to realize the most daring and crazy ideas.
The task of the competition is dedicated to the work of the Mumiy Troll group. The best drawings will be widely known, becoming the basis for the design of new t-shirts of the group.
“Our musical journey has just begun,” and who knows where it will lead us, ”says Ilya Lagutenko, founder, ideologist and inspirer of the country's most marine group.
Acceptance of works is open from May 20, 2020 at https://solstudiodesign.com/award/.
The competition is open to adult citizens of Russia and the CIS countries. To participate, you must send from one to three drawings on a competitive topic. Results will be announced on June 30th. The main prize of the competition is a paid trip to the international music festival V-ROX (www.vrox.org) in Vladivostok in May 2021. Second prize - a professional internship at Solstudio Textile Design. The third is the circulation of copyrighted T-shirts with a drawing-winner from a partner of the Epson contest.
The jury consists of the founder of the group Mumiy Troll Ilya Lagutenko, the founder of Solstudio Textile Design Alexandra Kaloshina, the representative of Epson Andrey Dynkin.
“Surprisingly, it was precisely in the conditions of limited opportunities, self-isolation, that various spheres and worlds began to come into contact, unexpected partnership projects appeared. This is precisely how the idea of ​​a joint competition between the Mumiy Troll group and our studio was born, ”commented Alexander Kaloshina.
