On 3 August the MCCI Committee on Industrial and Innovation Policy and the Working Group on Land and Property Relations under the Ombudsman for the Rights of Entrepreneurs in Moscow Tatiana Mineeva held a meeting on land use issues.

This event is a landmark event, since the Office of the Ombudsman for Entrepreneurs' Rights, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry and representatives of the business community met face-to-face at the same site at a difficult time for entrepreneurs.

Welcoming remarks were made by the Commissioner for the Rights of Entrepreneurs Tatiana Mineeva and Vladimir Platonov, President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The issues of land and property relations are relevant for large business, there are many obstacles in the process of paperwork, their approval and the timing of obtaining permits.

The meeting participants discussed the amendments to the law “On Land Use in the City of Moscow”, the issues of timing when making changes to the Land Use and Development Rules, setting deadlines for approving the Territory Planning Project, as well as proposals for regulating interdepartmental interaction between the executive authorities of the city of Moscow and the Rosreestr Office for Moscow.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the DGI, the State Inspectorate, assistant to the deputy of the Moscow City Duma Nikolaeva E.L., as well as representatives of Rosreestr.

Based on the results of this event, specific proposals on the issues under consideration will be developed.
