The First Cohort of the Acceleration Programme Has Ended at Kalibr

On 5th August 5 Kalibr Technopark hosted a demo day of the first cohort of the acceleration programme, where the participants demonstrated their projects in accordance with all the recommendations they received during the eight-week training.

Opening speeches were made by: Sergey Sevostyanov, General Director of Kalibr PJSC, Mikhail Kogan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kalibr PJSC, Deputy Director of the  Industrial Development Agency and Head of the Development Programs of the Department of the Moscow Innovation Cluster Foundation.

Alexander Loktionov, the moderator of the event, introduced members of the jury: Alexander Vishnyakov, the head of the Oktava-ElectronDesign instrument-making association, Dmitry Sovtsov, the general director of NPO SvyazProekt, an expert in the field of communications and digital television and radio broadcasting, Sergey Khalyutin,  a specialist in the field of aviation power engineering, Dmitry Turbashevsky, an expert in instrument-making and the head of the Additive Technologies subdivision in Modern Equipment LLC.

After the presentation of the jury and partners, the main part of the events began - the defense of the participants' projects. The first to perform was Bulat Aitbaev with his platform and a smart tracksuit to increase the efficiency of training, followed by Evgenia Ledeneva with contactless identification by the veins of the palm. Sergey Chepikov presented his platform for the automation of visual control of technological operations in industry and construction online, then Diana Iozhits, together with Vladislav Rogozin, defended a project for the production of biobutanol through bacterial fermentation of microalgae, Andrei Botviniev presented a virtual logistics operator, and Dmitry Chevelev demonstrated a new generation hemostatic tourniquet. The seventh participant was Inal Tomaev with a project for document analysis based on artificial intelligence, then Semyon Karpov presented a project for calculating the cost of manufacturing parts, and the final speaker was Maxim Bogush, presenting a photopolymer printer.

After the presentation, each participant was awarded a certificate of completion of the acceleration programme and certificates for a free visit to Kalibr coworking space for one month.

After a short meeting, the expert council, which closely followed the presentations, awarded some projects with additional nominations:

  • "Best Investment Attractive Project" - Vladislav Rogozin (Butacorp)
  • "Best Team" - Evgeniya Ledeneva (Palmjet)
  • "Best Project Presentation" - Bulat Aitbaev (MyoFit)
  • "A project consistent with the UN Sustainable Development Goals" - Dmitry Chevelev (KroveStopPolymerZhgut)
  • "The most proactive participant in the recruitment for interaction with business partners of Kalibr -  Semyon Karpov (Any-cut)

After the presentation of the nominations, Alexey Marin, Deputy Director of the Agency for Industrial Development, was invited to the stage to comment on the inclusion of selected projects in the Technology Bank.

In the next two weeks, all projects that have passed the programme from start to finish and have successfully defended their presentations will receive financial support from Kalibr.
