Technopark "Kalibr" entered the top 5 best technoparks in Russia

On October the 5th, the Digital Business Space hosted the Innovation Infrastructure forum dedicated to the 10th anniversary of technoparks. At the event, speakers summed up the results of Moscow's ten-year innovation policy, and announced the rating of the most effective technoparks according to the Association of clusters, technoparks and SEZ of Russia.

Technopark "Kalibr" has been leading in the category "Information openness" for several years, and also scored high marks in the blocks "Investment attractiveness of the region" and "Industrial, scientific, technical, innovative activities of residents".

The Forum has become a uniting platform for communication and exchange of experience between the founders of technology startups, government officials, heads of technoparks in Russia and other key players in the field of innovation.

Sergey Sevostyanov, CEO of Kalibr PJSC, spoke in two sessions: "Effective Technopark: Success factors and response to global economic challenges", and "Technopark vs Business Center: Change of investment focus". Together with Andrey Shpilenko, moderator of the first session and director of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZ of Russia, the speakers analyzed indicators reflecting the effectiveness of the work of technoparks, and also listened to suggestions from business on how to improve and simplify algorithms of informing about the benefits of residency in a technopark. In the second session, which was led by Kristina Kostroma, Deputy Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow, Sergey Sevostyanov shared how the technopark management company helps its tenants grow in new conditions, enter new markets and implement potentially successful ideas.

Throughout the event, guests could visit an exhibition of 23 of the most interesting innovative productions selected specifically for the forum. Three residents of the Kalibr technopark also took part in the exhibition: Solstudio Industry, a factory of digital printing on fabric with one of the brightest stands, CUPPER, a manufacturer of high–tech automotive oils and lubricants, as well as Atol, a leading creator of equipment and software developer for trade and logistics automation, which recently received the status of anchor tenant of Technopark.

The day which was filled with new acquaintances and productive discussions, ended with the award ceremony "Innovator of Moscow" - the Moscow Mayor's Award, it has been awarded since 2020 to stimulate the development and encourage the introduction of innovative ideas that contribute to the development and improvement of the quality of life in the capital. The Innovation Infrastructure Forum once again confirmed that the technopark is one of the important elements of Moscow's innovation ecosystem, which continues to prove its effectiveness and relevance.
