Rotork RUS introduced the latest generation of its innovative control and monitoring system for valve actuators and plant equipment.

Suitable for use in all industries, the Rotork Master Station is capable of operating up to 240 actuators in three separate field networks, which allows optimal utilization of the network in different parts of the plant. It now supports the Modbus® RTU protocol with the integration of third-party devices and Pakscan ™ Classic, the standard Rotork two-wire loop system, which has more than 170,000 existing devices installed in networks around the world.

The Rotork Master Station has many features that allow you to control the devices and systems connected to it. Regardless of whether they are interested in condition monitoring or predictive maintenance, everything is possible from the Rotork workshop. The large touch screen interface and web pages share a common, intuitive menu structure that focuses on quick device configuration, polling, and problem resolution.

The ability to connect multiple hosts is provided, and the presence of several databases allows the Master Station to maximize data transfer efficiency.

The Master Station can be equipped with built-in redundancy support through an online redundancy configuration, which allows the replica block to take control of the network in the event of an error in the main unit. All network communications are protected by fault tolerance, which allows the installation to continue, even if it fails.

The Rotork Master Station installation is inexpensive and simple thanks to the use of a single-twist cable instead of an expensive multi-conductor cable. Wired control loops can operate on circuits up to 20 km long without external repeaters, which further reduces the cost of labor, installation and commissioning. The Rotork Master Station is available with 19-inch rack mounting or panel mounting, and all wiring is easily accessible from the front panels.

This solution supports all Rotork and third-party drive units, while the Rotork Master Station can replace existing Pakscan IIE and P3 systems without the need for additional network or device changes, making it easy to integrate them into installations.

Rotork provides service and support for commissioning in all of our offices around the world, as well as online documentation that will help commissioning, maintenance and maintenance teams. Rotork offers training for clients at Rotork workshops and on Pakscan networks, both within the company and on-site.
