RVC announces the start of the annual national rating of the Russian fast-growing technology companies TehUspekh-2019. Up to 30 participating companies of this year’s rating will receive support in the framework of the National Champions project of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

TechUspech has been formed annually since 2012 and is aimed at finding, monitoring and promoting promising fast-growing technology companies that have high leadership potential in both the Russian and global markets. Such companies, the so-called “technological gazelles” capable of creating fundamentally new technologies and forming new markets, play an important role in the development of the Russian economy.

The number of participating companies is steadily growing every year - currently, more than 350 companies are in the rating database. About 60% of the participants in the previous rating successfully export their products to the markets of highly developed countries.

This year, RVC is switching to a new format of interaction with applicants. Now the application for participation in the TechUspech - 2019 rating is carried out online via the RVC Digital Platform. The new interface will significantly reduce the time to fill out personal data, eliminate the need to exchange paper copies of documents and increase the transparency of the evaluation criteria. After filling out the questionnaire for participation in the rating, the company will become part of the business ecosystem of RVC and its partners in the development of the technology business. The digital platform provides an opportunity for companies to automatically receive recommendations and proposals for gaining access to business development programs, as well as services provided by partners. This feature of the digital platform will allow companies to reduce time costs and labor costs for obtaining state support, information coverage of their work, organizing meetings with professionals who have already taken place in the corporate world and can help in their development.

In addition, participants in the TechUspech rating will receive comprehensive methodological and practical assistance in the development and promotion of their business in new markets. The digital platform provides an opportunity to establish direct communication with professional consultants for relations with government authorities, potential investors and consumers of high-tech products in different countries of the world. Rating enjoys great attention from the Russian and international media and leading scientific and business publications. This circumstance gives companies additional opportunities to express themselves in the professional and business communities.

“During the existence of the TechUspech rating, a whole ecosystem has developed around it, which makes it possible to effectively find leaders of the domestic technology business and increase their competencies. Now our most important task is to more closely connect TechUp with STI. This year, the rating participants received an additional development tool in the form of the RVC Digital Platform, which opens up new opportunities for companies that have ambitions and potential to go abroad, ”said Mikhail Antonov, Deputy General Director - RVC Innovation Infrastructure Development Director .

All rating participants also undergo an automatic assessment for compliance with the selection criteria for support packages for the National Technology Initiative (NTI), whose project office is RVC. The programs suggest the possibility of obtaining grant and investment financing of technology companies in the NTI markets in the amount of up to 500 million rubles.

Since 2016, TechUspech is the official tool for searching and selecting technology companies to participate in the priority project of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia “Support for private high-tech leading companies” (“National Champions”). The project aims to provide focused support to companies in various industries that have significant potential to gain domestic and foreign markets. To date, the ministry has selected 84 rating companies; this year, an additional 20-30 new companies will be selected on the basis of new data.

Accepting applications will last until September 15, 2019.

In order to apply for participation in the ranking, the applicant will need:

1. go to the website services.rvc.ru;
2. register in the personal account of the RVC Digital Platform;
3. fill in the questionnaire for participation in the TechUspech - 2019 rating;
4. apply and wait for the response of the operator.
