TECHNOPARK BECAME OFFICIAL PARTNER OF THE CONTEST "TEXTILE DESIGN TALENTS"

Solstudio Textile Group is hosting the third international textile design contest, Textile Design Talents.
The competition went beyond Russia, last year more than 500 designers from 123 cities and 24 countries submitted applications for participation, including England, Italy, France, Belgium, Denmark, India, China, Israel, Chile and many others.
The competition is held with the support of the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry (SOYUZLEGPROM) and with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Russian Week of Textile and Light Industry, the Intertkan exhibition.

Today, textile design is one of the main drivers of fashion development. The goal of the Textile Design Talents contest is to support talented textile designers, attract the attention of the professional community, and to help realize their abilities in the industry.
The competition declares a broad understanding of textile design, combining this concept with surface design: from creating patterns for fabrics and clothes to patterns used in interiors, accessories, shoes and any other surfaces related to the main directions of fashion and light industry development.

The works of the contest participants will be evaluated by the strongest international jury:
Elsa May, fashion department of Première Vision; Izabel Wharton, editor, print & graphics WGSN; David Shah, founder of the international magazine Textile View; Giovanni Ottonello, art director of IED Istituto Europeo di Design, Mary-Ann Dunkley, Design Director Liberty Fabrics. The composition also includes leading Russian experts in the field of textile design: Andrey Razbrodin, founder of the DARGEZ company, President of the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry; Alexandra Kaloshina, founder of Solstudio Textile Group; Irina Rybaulina, Head of the Department of Textile and Ornamental Arts, Russian State University A.N. Kosygin.

The collection of applications from bidders will be held from November 1, 2019 to February 16, 2020.
On March 6, the list of finalists will be formed, the announcement of the results and awarding of the winners will take place on March 18, 2020 as part of the opening of the Russian week of textile and light industry at the Expocenter Fairgrounds.
The main prize for the winner of the leading textile exhibition Premiere Vision is a trip to the exhibition itself in Paris. The program will include a meeting with a representative of the fashion department of the exhibition and a special excursion program.
The prize for second place is a certificate with a face value of 79,000 rubles from Fashion Factory School business school for any course of study.
Third place is digital printing on fabric of the collection of the participant, consisting of 10 drawings of the participant’s choice, at the factory Solstudio Industry. The production is fully funded by the contest organizer.
Special nominations from the Concept Group companies include an internship at the Concept Club women's clothing brand company, from Solstudio Textile Design an internship at a studio, from Epson a full-color Epson printer and a T-shirt print with the winner's design in this nomination.

The winners and finalists will also receive memorable diplomas, Pantone color guides, and a special prize from Kalibr Technopark - certificate for a fixed workplace in the coworking zone for 1 month.
