Participants of the Expert Session Present New Developments for the Smart City
МThe Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with Kalibr Technopark and the MCCI Industrial and Innovation Policy Committee held an online conference on the topic: “Smart Moscow: how artificial intelligence is changing life in the city” on 29th October 2020 on the Zoom online platform.
For a long time the phrase “smart city” was a fantasy. Few understood what this concept was. The main goal of the event was to understand what is meant by the definition of a “smart city” and how artificial intelligence technologies are used to implement it.
The meeting was opened by Suren Vardanyan, Vice-President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mikhail Kogan, Chairman of the MCCI Committee on Industrial and Innovation Policy. According to the chairman of the Committee artificial intelligence technologies are becoming more and more widely used in everyday life and are gaining special importance.
The meeting participants discussed the elements of a “smart” city, issues of standardization of artificial intelligence technologies, global trends in the field of “smart” cities after the pandemic, and also talked about the Future Tech program to attract young professionals to develop innovations. Examples of the use of AI in various fields were also presented..
