How to Conduct Large-Scale Events for Business Online, Digitalization and Optimization During Covid-19: Moscow Summed up the Results of the Tech Week 2020 Conference

From 17 to 20 November Moscow hosted the annual Tech Week, but this time in a new online format. Despite the limitations and emergency transformation, Tech Week has remained one of the largest conferences for business. Over 4 days, more than 2,600 spectators visited the online platform of the conference to watch 194 speeches from the country's leading experts.

Tech Week has become a traditional platform for discussing the implementation of innovative digital technologies in business and sharing experience based on the cases of the largest Russian and world corporations. The event is organized by Technocrat company with the support of MegaFon general partner, strategic partner of the Skolkovo Foundation and FinTech partner of Gazprombank bank.

Traditionally, Tech Week was held in the format of four thematic days - a multimedia conference, an online exhibition and an applied training day for company leaders - "The Final Breakthrough in 2020". 14 thematic streams by directions:

This year Tech Week, like many others, faced unpredictable changes and moved its capacity online in a short time without losses. The main part of the event was held from November 17 to 20 on the basis of the online conference platform, every day simultaneously broadcasting was carried out on 5 thematic streams. The exhibition and opportunities for networking and exchanging contacts with attendees were implemented using the Eventicious app.

The Mentor Lounge has become a regular Tech Week format and also took place online this year. More than 42 online sessions were held with the analysis of business projects from experts in the field of digital technologies. Investment pitches took place on an online platform, where the largest venture capital funds and accelerators heard presentations from 25 selected start-up projects.

And after the Tech Week conference with its partner TechLab by PepsiCo, it will continue to support startups and technology solutions of companies. In December, the company invites startups and companies in the BiG DATA field to take part in an online pitch and get the opportunity to become a partner with one of the largest companies in the world.

One of the headliners of the event were the key speakers of QIWI - Boris Kim, Alexander Agakov, Maria Shevchenko. The leitmotif of the company's reports was Human responsibility, as the main model of employee development today.
