The Digital Industry of Industrial Russia-2021 Sums Up the Results of the Digital Five-Year Plan in Russia on June 23-25 in Nizhny Novgorod

The 6th Annual Conference "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" will be held on June 23-25 2021 in Nizhny Novgorod. The conference participants will summarize the results of the first five years of the transformation of the Russian economy into a data economy and discuss the scenarios for the development of technologies in the country until 2025, highlighting the key trends and identifying the necessary steps to achieve the goals of the second technological five-year plan.

DIIR-2021 will become the largest business event in Russia in the field of the digital economy and will be one of the most significant business events at the end of 2021. The conference will expand its audience by integrating new formats, attracting renowned international experts and concluding new partnerships with Russian and foreign companies. DIIR-2021 will become the main platform in Russia for discussing the transformation of economic sectors, digitalization of the humanitarian environment, digital art, development of new media, intellectual property issues in the digital world and others.

“The introduction of digital technologies is one of the priorities of our policy. This year Nizhny Novgorod turns 800 years old, we are glad that the region has not only a rich history and culture, but also new projects. Today, the Nizhny Novgorod region is one of the most developed Russian entities in terms of the level of implementation of digital technologies. The DIIR conference will help us accelerate the digital development of the region and will become one of the main events for the Nizhny Novgorod region in this busy year ",  saidGleb Nikitin, the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The DIIR conference became the first platform where they began to talk about the need to develop the digital economy in Russia as a whole, without dividing it into separate technologies. Five years ago, within the framework of the DIIR-2016 conference, the draft program "Digital Economy" began to be discussed, and three years later, roadmaps of the country's digital development were presented at the event.

“In 2016-2020 the foundation of Russia's digital economy was laid, and the DIIR conference took an active part in this. For more than 5 years we have been directly interacting with the target audience for the adoption and implementation of government initiatives and strategic decisions. We also pay attention to technologies in the humanitarian sphere, within the framework of the DIIR, the Digital Art stream is separately highlighted - the development of this direction is extremely promising in the formation of the social model of the future. As part of the DIIR-2021, we will not only outline the key trends and the necessary sequential steps to achieve the set targets by 2025, but also present new formats”, said Olga Piven, director of the DIIR conference.

The organizer of the conference is the OMG company. The strategic partners of the DIIR are State Corporation Rostec, State Corporation Rosatom and the Digital Economy organization. The event is traditionally held with the support of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
