24th September Kalibr Technopark was visited by the participants of the Welcome Day. Among the visitors of the event were students of the Polytechnic College No. 8 named after twice Hero of the Soviet Union I.F. Pavlov.

During the tour around the technopark, the participants were told about the main moments of history from the opening of the company in 1932 to the present time, they were shown the territory and told what a technopark is.

This time the programme was dedicated to creative industries, so the route of the excursion included such industries as the BASK  digital factory and the Solstudio Industry fabric printing factory. The final point of the programme was traditionally Kalibr Animation Technopark with workshops in design and animation.

The guests were able to see the whole process of creating the legendary BASK brand jackets: researching a new batch of down and fabric in our own laboratory, the work of an automated cutting complex, the process of stuffing down into products and even manual sewing of jackets.

At the Solstudio Industry production site, the action participants were told about the activities of the Solstudio group of companies, the participants were able to appreciate the unsurpassed quality of the Radical Chic brand and track the path from the designer's creation of a print to its digital application on different types of fabric.

At the end of the fascinating excursion, the guests of the site visited Kalibr Children's Animation Technopark, where a choice of two master classes on 3D animation and design was offered.
